Increase Sales with New Products

2013 will be a very exciting year for Sigma and the Affiliate Program! This past week we launched individual eye shadows from the Bare, Dare, Flare and Paris Palettes, as well as a collection of brow products. The individuals collection is only the start of exciting and innovative product launches coming this year; therefore we’d like to share with you some helpful hints on making the most of these great selling opportunities!

• Follow the Sigma Affiliate Blog and @Sigma_Affiliate on Twitter to stay up to date on announcements and product previews. Make sure to pass any information on to your followers, as it is a great way to generate buzz about the upcoming product launch. Developing excitement and discussion is the first step in securing a sale! 

• On the day of the product launch, it is important to release the specific product information to your followers. You can use any images from the Sigma Affiliate Blog and the Sigma website as long as you give credit to Sigma (simply include: Photo Credit: www.sigmabeauty.com). Include the need-to-know information with the images such as the product description, benefits and price.

• Always deep-link to the new product page and share the monthly 10% off code to give your followers a call to action. 

• Remind your followers about the product launch over your social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) throughout the first week of the launch. Make sure to link back to your original post so they can see the full details and click your affiliate link.

Writing Product Reviews to Increase Sales

There are many ways to promote your Sigma affiliation, but one of the most effective ways to do this is through a review. While we are unable to provide complimentary products to all of our affiliates, that does not mean you are restricted from making a purchase on your own to review. Individual brushes can be purchased for $10-20 USD. It’s most economical to purchase brushes in kits, but we realize not everyone can afford to purchase a whole kit.

If you are serious about strengthening your affiliation with Sigma and increasing earning potential, purchasing a brush to review would greatly increase your chances of securing a sale. Followers will be more apt to listen to a first-hand review written in your own words, rather than a generic picture and website description.

9.    Spend more time learning about affiliate marketing and strategies.
