As some of you may know, the Portuguese spoken in Portugal is a different dialect than the Portuguese spoken in Brazil. Therefore, today’s banners are directed towards our affiliates in Portugal. Germany, the second most populated country in Europe, is a great place to live as an affiliate due to the large percentage of internet users and online shoppers. Additionally, there are more social networking users in Germany than any other country in Western Europe. Another favorable statistic for affiliates: 90% of internet users in Germany will shop online, and a little less than 80% of those shoppers will make a purchase!

Today we’re going to spotlight five affiliates from Russia, a country whose cosmetic industry is experiencing a rapid expansion. It is currently one of the fastest growing markets in the world, increasing at an estimated 10-15% a year, considerably higher than the US and European markets. With such a popular beauty industry, it’s no surprise that we have many beautiful and talented Russian affiliates. This week on the Sigma Affiliate Blog we are going to spotlight a country that is full of beauty: Brazil! Not only does Brazil have the second largest number of Sigma affiliates (after the USA), it is emerging as a hot spot for international beauty and fashion.
